Alright so recently I was contacted by :iconwei-en: saying

"Right, so...

It was a few days ago that I realised, to my utter horror, that I had completely forgotten about the Exquisite Corpse collaboration.

My reaction was something akin to sinking into a hole, moaning."

wei-en asked me to post a quick blog showcasing the final poem as well as apologies of forgetting about the contest.

I will be sure to make a devation (credits and all) and submit it to the knownames poem collection but I saw no harm in putting the poem here as well.

"Here, we have the final poem:

Running, we are always running...
I can hear screaming in my head; sounds of agony.
We are the living dead.
Feed me into the hell of this desolate land; when I'm gone there will be nothing left

It ended - discordant
no more important than might-have-been
and no more distant than the very phantasms of time.
But for all it was not... it was mine.

There is a piano playing in the background of our lives
And the darkness that seduces the world is drawing near
So tell me, my dear
Where are the iridescent stars now?

Speak to me at night-
Reach through the water
to where my ears listen,
at the bottom of the ocean.

And here is an alphabetical list of contributors:

~frozen-fyre
~InTheStarryNightSky
*lil-vespia-noir
*wei-en"

I would like to thank everyone who participated, we made a wonderful and beautiful piece.

Thank you again.
